Your Spirit & Your Heart
Week 1: The Grid

Here is this week’s downloadable blessing:
And here are some optional extra blessings from previous classes:
Reminder: Be aware that you may experience emotional “detoxing,” as we work to clean out the heart. This could look like dreams with mixed moral ideas, or random emotions that don’t seem connected to your daily experience. Think of it as recalibrating, or refreshing the data of your heart’s GPS system. As confusion leaves, it can send up exhaust fumes.
As you need it, use the tool of staying externally focused to avoid emotional overload. Learn how to intentionally activate your left brain by focusing on things that are factual, physical, and uncomplicated. Find simple things to do that you can enjoy & also check off your “to do” list. Stay away from introspection & analyzing things right now. Understand that even your discernment might be off right now, since your heart is undergoing a deep cleanse. Keep everything as light as you can.
If painful memories surface, first ask your spirit whether there is a soul part, or a group of soul parts. Ask your spirit to help the parts get to the river with the Spring of Conception, to create a healing place where they can meet with the Lord and find healing and integration. Even if you don’t feel or “hear” anything, and you’re not sure, go ahead and ask your spirit to do this.
If the idea of soul parts is new, or only partly familiar, this resource page may help:
(The password is SoulParts)
If the memory persists, use a quiet time with the Lord to picture the heart terrain, and then ask your spirit & the Lord to go to the place in the terrain that represents this memory, and to cleanse it. We will be doing that in depth in week 5, but you can go ahead and try it now! You can’t mess it up, with your spirit & the Lord leading the way.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you.
Psalm 32:8
New skill: WALK AWAY
Read through Isaiah 36. Look at all the different types of psychological and emotional onslaught brought by the enemy.
The king wisely told his men not to answer the enemy.
Here is the key - when thought temptations come, or you are under some other form of spiritual attack, it doesn’t usually come as words or a logical thought. It comes as feelings; emotions that can be very strong.
With an onslaught of enemy emotions aimed at your heart, it becomes confused and emotionally tired. This can also happen when you are in a place that has a negative spiritual presence.
Remember in situations like this, that the only thing that matters is your alignment. You are aligned with the Lord. He knows it, and you know it. So just mentally say, “No!” and sidestep whatever the emotional turmoil is.
Don’t try to answer, argue, analyze, or refute whatever is coming at you. Just reaffirm that you are aligned with the Lord Jesus Christ, and then move on. Do something external, physical, concrete, and unrelated, and allow your mind to move on to everyday, matter-of-fact ideas.
If it feels like you need something more forceful, or you need to repeat it, you can just say, “I will not partner with that. I do not choose that. I reject that,” or whatever phrase works for you.
The idea is to stay completely clear of whatever emotional scenario is being offered, because your heart will tend to reach out and connect with emotional ideas, even if they’re not true.
A simple reaffirming that you already are aligned with God, rather than emotional battling, helps your heart to find the fixed point, God’s heart, so that the compass of your heart can pull you in the right directions.
“This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God.” - I John 3:19-21
Repletion Exercise
This exercise will help your heart to stay grounded as we work to refresh your database, and restore your heart terrain. I hope it will become a normal part of your life.
It’s a game-changer!
Plan a time when you can arrange to enjoy something pleasurable for each of your five physical senses together at the same time. During the experience, focus on what you are feeling from your senses, not on texting or other distractions. FEEL it. Embrace the experience. Be fully present for what you are experiencing.
You can read what others have done for their Repletion exercises, and some of the fruit they experienced here:

If you are willing to post about what you did and how you enjoyed it, feel free to do that as well. My hope is to build up a large number of suggested experiences that others can draw from.
When you go to post something, it will pop up a sign-in box. Just sign in with your name (however you want it to appear) and email, and then click on “Continue as Guest.” You do not need a password.
Have fun with it! That’s the whole point!
